• Outreach and Evangelism:
* Maintain Central Pointe's website to teach and provide information to
perspective visitors
* Create and order promotional and teaching tracts, cards, flyers, banners
and supplies to aid outreach teams as they reach out to the community
• Fellowship
* Create flyers and promotional cards to remind members and visitors of
upcoming fellowship events
• Finance
* Support computers and software used to track financial transactions,
membership, etc
• Building & Grounds
* Support office equipment – copiers, computers, networking devices,
phones, etc
2. Researching new technologies that
may aid in sharing and spreading the Word or enhance our worship service
3. Aid and support sister congregations as they attempt to advance their
technology to better reach out to a technology-centric world
Contribution to the Congregation's Vision
"There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different
kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working,
but the same God works all of them in all men. Now to each one the manifestation
of the Spirit is given for the common good." 1 Corinthians 12:4-7 (NIV)
The world today is changing. Technology is an
important part of nearly everything we do, from our daily work, to how
we spend our free time, to how we communicate, to how we look up phone
numbers or get directions, to how we study the scriptures.
This ministry contributes directly to the congregation’s vision
of pursuing the lost in the most culturally relevant format, recording
and making lessons available for distribution, aiding in dynamic worship
services, and using communication channels like the internet and television
to reach out to our community.
Additionally, while we might not be able to physically meet together on
a daily basis, the right technology tools can help us regularly connect
with one another within the Central Pointe Church of Christ community,
helping to support each other and our various ministries.
