In our fast-paced lifestyle, we seldom do things twice. We want what is newer, bigger, better, and more fascinating. We go for the attention-grabber, the attractive, the appealing, and the stimulating. For some, it takes a lifetime to figure out what Solomon discovered early in life: “There is no new thing under the sun.” (Eccl. 1:9)

There’s another way to approach life. I call it ‘living under the Son’. With Christ, every day brings new adventures worthy of exploration…the kind words you forgot to speak, the child you forgot to hug, the spouse you need to forgive, the friendships you need to repair, the thoughts you need to erase, the compassion you need to show, the charity you need to provide, the habits you need to break. Your ‘To Do List’ will be endless once you find yourself living under the Son.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
